Tony Wasco
Tony attended Saint Mary’s high School and graduated in1958. He served in the Us Army from 1958 – 1961 and was Stationed in Cherbourg and Paris France.
Tony spent the next 30 years of his career with the Railroad with Jersey Central Lehigh Valley and Con Rail. Tony also Coached teenagers baseball for Wilkes-Barre and Mountain top and in 1985 Tony was instrumental in returning American Legion Baseball to Mountain Top where he was head coach from 1985-1992
Tony always thought about becoming a Real Estate agent but working for the railroad, raising 5 children and coaching baseball left him little time to pursue it.
